WHEN OUR IDENTITY AS UNICORNS CLASHES WITH THE WORLD
READ: 6 MINS
Today's Unicorn Feature is Hannah Bonecutter, a Chicago-based artist who uses art to be a light of exposure and inspiration. Her primary artistic expressions include film and poetry. We were lucky to interview Hannah and showcase her masterpiece on our site, available below.
A star in the making: Hannah takes on the challenges we as Unicorn’s face in the world - an internal turmoil of pursuing our talents and purpose. These challenges can create an internal strife, where we ask ourselves, "how do I live my purpose in a world that doesn't understand me"?
Bring in Minstrel vs. Puppet: Hannah’s recent ground breaking film, "Minstrel vs. Puppet" exposes the internal conflict we face as Unicorns, through a depiction on what women face when it comes down to brains versus beauty. In her film, which Hannah directs and acts, Hannah analyzes societal factors that influence the notions, sentiments, and characterizations within us.
Below is an exclusive premiere of Hannah's film, followed by our one-on-one interview.
