PHYSICAL FITNESS AND MENTAL GROWTH: ADAM (AJ) WHITE
A huge transformation—physically, mentally, and spiritually—defines Adam (AJ) White's journey. In 2024, AJ lost 50 pounds in 3 months, but the real shift happened within. He stopped blaming others for his circumstances and took full accountability for his life. Looking inward, AJ decided to make a change.
Fueled by frustration and sadness, AJ discovered his mission: to help young adults push beyond their limits and achieve their fullest potential. Today, AJ dedicates himself to empowering others, and is working on bringing innovative technology and mental health to fitness spaces for growth.
We sat down with AJ to learn more about his inspiring journey.
Q: How do you describe your purpose as a Unicorn?
AJ: Being a source of light. In a world that often feels dim or where the brightness in others hasn’t been fully realized, my mission is to help people find and unleash their potential. I see it as my role to either replace or tighten the bulbs in their lives, illuminating the path forward. My purpose is to spark growth, inspire change, and help others shine in ways they may not have known were possible. By lifting others, I believe I create a ripple effect of progress and positivity in the world.
Q: How did you identify your purpose? Were there any major obstacles along the way?
AJ: I identified my purpose through experiences I’ve had in life. Each challenge I faced revealed the joy and hope I bring to others. My biggest obstacles were internal—struggling to find where I fit in, navigating different paths like the military, switching schools, and transitioning from being an athlete to life beyond sports. These experiences shaped me and ultimately led me to discover my purpose of helping others find their light.
Q: What tips would you provide others to identify their purpose?
AJ: Don’t be afraid to experience life fully. By "experience," I mean get out of your comfort zone, travel, and explore the world. Instead of spending money on things that don’t add long-term value, use it to see new places, meet different people, and learn about diverse lifestyles. This will give you a clearer sense of what truly resonates with you, rather than what social media or society says you should value.
Q: What projects are you working on that everyone should know about?
AJ: I’m currently working on projects aimed at empowering young adults who are ambitious and seeking more for themselves, both physically and mentally. I’m building a unique fitness experience that focuses on holistic wellness, combining physical training with mental growth. I’m also developing innovative technology designed to tailor wellness plans to individual needs. These initiatives are about more than just fitness; they’re about creating spaces and tools that inspire people to reach their full potential, both inside and out.
Q: How can people find you?
AJ: You can find me on Instagram at @Imajwhite and @VitalityVSN. I’m also on LinkedIn at Adam White Jr.
Q: What is one cause you would like our audience to support?
AJ: I’m passionate about empowering adaptive athletes through Tribal Adaptive, a cause that supports individuals with unique needs and celebrates their resilience and determination.
